Nancy O'Dell's career began in Myrtle Beach South Carolina as an anchor and reporter for news with WPDE-TV. In the following years, she worked as a morning-news anchor as well as a crime reporter at WCBD TV. Her reporting in Charleston about the police's leniency toward DUI cases has led to the State Law Enforcement Division investigating these incidents. Ms. O'Dell won an award for the Best Report of the Award from the Associated Press for South Carolina's media.
